About Mike
A Rhode Island native and now a Connecticut resident, Mike Urgo has a diverse background which has helped him guide his clients to find the solutions they have been searching for in their business or personal life.
Professionally Mike has been a successful entrepreneur as both a consultant and retail store owner. He has worked in the financial industry for over 15 years in lending, retail banking, & commercial development. Mike has also worked in non-profit; helping to build major fundraising events through volunteer efforts and major gift donations. He has also been at the cutting edge in the healthcare field of compliance and contract management. Mike now enjoys working directly through Farmers Insurance. His firm provides top quality insurance options to individuals and businesses in the local community.
As a leader and volunteer, Mike has given thousands of hours of his time for the betterment of the local community. Mike served two terms as First Selectman (Mayor) of North Stonington CT helping to promote community wellness and execution of the town’s strategic plans and initiatives.
